My college is absolutely Wrecked.Destroyed.Damaged.Vandalized.Raided.Rioted.Trashed.
I'm happy we have a week off.
I'm upset that the labs of my department have been broken.
I'm angry that students could act so destructively on such hasty decisions.
I find it funny that boys stole crates of Pepsi and Perk from the supermarket.One of them who turned up late at the 'ruins' managed to get ten bottles of Aquafina.For god knows what reason.
I feel sorry for my hostel friends who were asked to evacuate the premises at three in the morning.
I feel sick that they stole computers and LCD screens and what not.
I'm scared we won't get the approval.
I'm tired of the rumours that we might end up with B.Sc degrees at the end of our fourth year.
I laughed when I heard they blocked traffic to keep the police away for two hours.
A four crore loss in four hours.

Which college is this? wow., reminds me of my karunya days. A couple of times the management of karunya evacuvated the hostel in the middle of the night., and we landed up at coimbatore railway station somewhere at 3:00/4:00 to catch some transport back to chennai. The fun part was there will be a long leave thereafter :)

hey, no fair!! what do u say about the "sathyabama college students on a rampage"? and the Bharath engg college students last week, and MGR Engg college students before that!! one thing's for sure, if ure not in anna university, ure in soup.... apparently jeppiar promises only a polytechnic(diploma)degree... dont know how much truth's in that though... one comfrting fact.... if we fall, everyone else falls with us
yeah i just saw that on ndtv...bharath and mgr students didn't go on a 'rampage' as such..we need a 'ucg' approval to get a b.tech degree..apparently iit and iis come under 'ucg'..'aicte' is just an added recognition factor which is not required compulsorily..students didn't quite get it..it started off with goddamned sms's!there is no chance in hell that we are getting b.sc degrees
The IITs dont come under the UGC (and not UCG!!), they are universities in their own right.

erm...If I am not a bit late...Can you guys please shed some light on whats happening in Deemed Universities???...Whys these apprehensions??What about Aritanandamayi college??Is this happening only for Deemed universities or for colleges affiliated to anna university too??
And I heard, that the college managemnet is hiring goondas to attack students!!! Is that so???Does the management think that the students are their slaves???

college wasn't hiring...as far as I know,it was the students who 'invited' the goondas.but then there was pon vaiko's henchmen who were brought in to get rid of the goondas..wow..i love the word 'goondas'..it reminds me of bondas..but getting back on track..don't mind my rambling..its the bledi students who are up to everything...we don't have some freaking aicte approval that apparently we require for our b.tech degrees..actually i'm not sure..cos that give the same shit in a new form everyday..all i know is..college is closed 'indefinately'
well...it started off with my college I think..not sure..but then sathyabama students also revolted cos they didn't have it..then some sankaracharyar college somewhere else..basically now everyone wants to vandalize their college
well..it is sad..its disgusting too..pretty pathetic state of affairs..we're just mute observers who have no idea where we're being led right now..i just want my b.tech degree..if i wanted a b.sc i would have gone to stupid stella!!!!!!!
and hey..do NOT feel bad for students..they're just sob's who needed a reason to plunder and damage..bloody pre planned shit this is..there was this hostel girl who said on saturday that there was going to be a strike on tuesday by the students..and there it happened..on monday night...!
Rather than feeling bad for the students,I pity them...they are getting into unwanted troubles...this is an issue between AICTE and The Deemed University...It is the management's responsibility to ensure them a B.Tech degree...So,where did the sudents come from,when they are not involved in the problem at all???Why should they get violent when the management has not conducted any talks with AICTE?? Thats too pre-mature rite?? But even then, the managements of SRM or Sathyabama are attrocious and they deserve such a treat by the student community...Dont they??
Check today's online version of The Hindu...One student from Sathayabaman Engineering college has commited suicide...SRM and sathyabama have moved up to the high court...I think you gonna have rest at home for quite a long time...Any developments over there??
Yeah..we got some stupid sms last night saying this guy in my college got 'tortured by the police' and had died...no idea if that's true
