Mr.Brownie is very very sick. And its slowly killing me too.I know we aren't allowed to have favourites amongst our babies but hell..he is the cutest and the most quiet. He has 'severe ascites'.Ascites is the accumulation of fluid in the abdomen.
If the fluid mixes with the blood, he could die.
His stomach is enlarged and he has the saddest look in his eyes.
He moans and cries in pain all the time.
We took him to the Veterinary hospital in Vepery. It was a long drive but he slept most of the way.It truly was a menagerie(Not quoting Barrons).I saw a dogs with broken legs and ears bitten off.A pregnant parrot, a sick duck and several cows and bulls.
We had to take an X Ray for him first followed by an ultrasound. The shaved his underside and took him in.The doctor diagnosed no obstructions inside but we still needed a surgical opinion.
We have to go back tomorrow.
I'm very depressed.
I can't lose my Mr.Brownie.
My mother blames it on 'shani' and 'dhrishti'.
Well..I don't blame God for wanting him too..
He's just perfect.
