The past few weeks have been eventful and I've been busy going out with Dober and the rest of the Kuppais
There is a place called Oasis down ECR...Just before the toll gate...you will miss it..because its a little joint..from the the outside, a bit seedy but it definately is a shack. The people there are extremely courteous. The boys bought their own alcohol and the waiters actually chilled it for us!Twenty dishes later, we prepared ourselves for a hole in the wallet..Surprise Surprise! 850! For the eight of us. :-)
I partied on Saturday night at Dublin. It was one of my best nights. All that dancing(especially for Gasolina) left me with swollen feet when I got back home.Ascendas at 2 A.M had around 60 people in it.Wow.That's a good crowd for that time of the night. An assortment of people. The pyjama types and the just-got-back-from a party or heading-towards-another-party kind.Thank you Dober! And congratulations on your engagement!
I just watched Ice Age 2.The one thing about sequels are
1)That you should never watch it with great expectations
2)It will never live up to the original (The same way a movie never does justice to a book)
Ice Age 2 was adorable but it just didn't have that rib tickling and rolling on your sides sort of humour. But it was great no doubt.
I saw Capote yesterday.Brilliant potrayal of Truman Capote by Phillip Seymour Hoffman.Atleast the parts of it I was awake for.In my personal opinion, it is not a movie that will be remembered after a year.Just like Munich.Munich was boring.Or perhaps I didn't have the sensitivity and the intellect to appreciate a movie like that.
One movie that I did find a bit dragging yet compelling was 'Brokeback Mountain'.A person can really feel the lust and the love that exists between the two heros and it just tugs at your heart and then breaks it through the movie. You can actually feel the pain of their seperation.Or perhaps its just me.
Also watched a movie called 'Crutch'.A 16 year old boy falls for his male acting teacher and spirals into a world of drugs and alcohol.
No.
I am not into movies involving homosexuals.
I just pick out the movies that people wouldn't normally choose.
No.
I'm not trying to be different.
I just am.
I'm delighted.I've actually completed half my assignment thanks to 'Shiv'.And DPR did not notice that a part of the review of literature was in Portuguese.Thank you again :-)
I've been extremely hyper today.A high intake of sugar no doubt.I sang 'Captain Planet' in a 'Ninnukori' tune and then tried to do a sorry ass impression of Michael Jackson's version of 'Scooby Doo'.I then sang 'My heart will go on' to Vman seemed so oblivious to the fact that a girl was serenading him.
Sigh
