I was once christened 'the bookworm of the family'.Which also accounts for my -8 power in both my eyes. It is ironic that both my parents have 10/10 vision while their three daughters have been wearing spectacles since their school days. Its been almost 13 years since I've been wearing my pair.
Digressing..Digressing
I am of the habit of reading anything and everything that comes my way. On a recent trip to Odyssey, I picked up the much acclaimed 'Shantaram' and surprisingly 'Mein Kamph' after watching 'Downfall'.
Shantaram is brilliant.Period.I wondered if there would be any book that lived up to my opinion of 'A Fine Balance' and I'm glad it was Shantaram.
Another book that I finished today was 'A million little pieces' by James Frey. A 23 year old man's experience in a rehabiliation center. I never quite understood Southpark's 'A million little fibres' and Oprah Winfrey's confrontation with Towlie. But I do now...
Allegations made by 'The Smoking Gun' website that most of the incidents in James Frey's book had been fabricated and changed left Oprah fuming. She invited him onto a show where she had a one on one confrontation with James and his publisher where he did admit the truth.
You go girl!
Four days.Two books.Two exams done.
Its a good start.

Mein Kamph is really boring....It was not fully written by Hitler, the book was heavily edited by one of his Nazi Party members...even the title was changed...
