I am positively superly duperly excited.
For starters, my mother has been in town for three weeks now and we've been gorging on some great food. The weird part is, I miss my kitchen. I miss watching my shows on Hulu and making food while drinking wine. It's how I kick back and relax after a day's work. I mostly do this elaborate cooking for The Boy on Thursday nights. So this weekend when my mom is with my younger sister 50 miles away, I have my kitchen to myself. The Boy's coming home after a long week at work and I figured we needed some alone time to just bum around eat and catch up just by ourselves. We see each other 3 days out of a week and the long distance is beginning to take its toll. Not too much, but we've begun to miss each other terribly nowadays. There were phases when I would be upset that the 'honeymoon period' of our relationship was far gone but it keeps coming back in flashes which is exciting :-)
I still get butterflies in my stomach 10 minutes before he walks through the door.
I still catch myself checking him out at the gas station when I'm in the car.
I still smile when our hands unconsciously lock together when we walk.
I grimace when I think of the two weeks we will be apart when I'm in India before him for the wedding this July.
But back to the excitement of cooking, I've decided to make him this ridiculously awesome Chicken salad, Hyderbadi Dum Biryani and Chocolate ganache cupcakes. I'm planning on doing the whole table setting and candles bit. I can't wait..
I'm acting like a love sick teenager.
Meh :S + Yay :) = Mehay :-)

Oh your post takes me to my prewedding period with HRH. I was away from him for about a month before our wedding and we went crazy till we saw each other. Its a good thing cuz the wedding is even more special that way. I understand about the long distance taking its toll. Its a zillion times worse after you become husband and wife. One of you needs to move asap!
cho chweet.. :) :P
