I called my mother this morning and said "Tamizh Puthandu Vazhthukal!!"
To cut her growing pride short I added, "After 24 years, I have to say it right at least once."
I missed 'Iniya' apparently, nevertheless, it was a good attempt.

With the new year has come new changes as noted by the not-so-drastic makeover to this blog. I'm 24 and I don't really feel like my middle name Parvathi anymore. 'Ain't no sunshine' doesn't hold as much meaning to me as it did in the past. Nor do quotes from 'I moved your cheese'.

This has been a confusing week and it hasn't straightened out yet. For some reason, the grass is always greener and prettier on the other side. I keep jumping fences so much, I'm surprised I haven't lost weight. In fact, I might have gained some.
Bah.
Meh.
