It was the perfect spring evening when I decided to go shopping with my school friends.Which was a huge group that slowly filtered into just three.Bimbo,Golliwog and me.So we walked into the Levis store and I asked them for a size 27.
"Sorry, we have only a 26 or 28."
"Fine I'll take a 26." I said confidently, holding the jeans to my heart and praying that they fit me while my lovely best friends smirked.
"Bimbo...can you get me the next size?" will sum up the next ten minutes I spend inside the dressing room.
The smirks had now turned into loud sniggers.
The big M actually gave a weird African ritual cry and said something that vaguely sounded like a "Join the 28's!!!" but I was in too much of a daze to actually notice.
The Signature jeans that Levis have come out with are actually cheap.Around 900 rs.Levis Strauss has increased its price by 600.Gulp.Its now 1900.I felt cheated that I had been so loyal to Levis over the past six years and they had to increase prices without informing me.It actually came to a point when I even contemplated buying SF jeans or Lee.The only other brand I was going to actually consider buying was Pepe but they made me look like a 'hillbilly'.Levis has been my outer skin for as long as I can remember.I have decided that I am going to become a 'Skirt person'.Ha!
This post makes me sound materialistic and bulemic.

hey., whats wrong with Lee?
i dont know..it reminds me of this horrible phase i went through in the eighth where every piece of clothing was lee.
actually., i've never tried levis (except for a sun cap which i absolutely love)., so cant say anything against it either. But., all these years with Lee has been good.
Well it's summer and long skirts are in.....
so what was ur size finally?? :) i missed the shopping tho...he he
