At some point in the night, I walked up the stairs and I stood alone.
Watching.
My friends dancing amidst the maddening crowd.
And they all looked so happy.
Laughing and screaming and trying to keep up with the music.
And they all looked so beautiful.
The smiles on their faces said it all.
It was a picture perfect moment.
I should've been a part of the picture.
But there is something more wonderful being a spectator.
Perhaps this is what they mean by 'Beauty is skin deep'.
It isn't the branded clothes or the perfect hair or flawless skin.
Its the smile on the face and that twinkle in the eye....

@ yawn -Isn't it easy for a person without a life to say things like that....aww..tsk tsk..and would you take your words back if you knew they were all earning and spending their OWN money? Aimless..? Could you explain why you've reached that conclusion?
