It has been eons since I've blogged. I did start a new blog though. My 'secret' blog. But that started off on a lame note and I stopped.Rather abruptly.Did anyone read swirlintwirlin.blogspot.com?

The applications have been sent and it is now a lonely waiting period.
And yes.
It does scare the shit out of me when I hear that he has got into Georgia Tech and she has got into U Penn.

Wedding bells are ringing.I love the new pair to be.Especially my soon to be 'Athimber' as he would love to be called but he settles for 'Kusu' as of now.
There are a million plans being made for the Sangeet and the Mehendi. We should be dancing for two songs as of now.Any suggestions?
I love the 'Kummi Adi' song from Jillendru Oru Kadhal.
I can close my eyes and imagine the boys and girls standing on opposite sides and dancing with each other dressed in typical South Indian costumes.
Elder Sister wants 'Jalak something Aaja' where that guy goes 'Ek bar Aaja aaja aaja' several times. That would be a fun song to dance to too.
My mother is in Cloud No. 99999999999999999 that her first daughter is getting married.
March 11th isn't that far away :-)

Chef Parvathi is in the house!
I donned the Chef Hat and made quite a few ahem dishes.

1) Caramel Custard. Using the mix.
2) Jelly. Using the mix.

And Pasta. I got the recipe of the Internet but will write it out here.It barely takes ten minutes and comes out quite well.

Chop 1 onion and a few cloves of garlic and sautee it in a few tablespoons of olive oil.Add to this
1) A spoon of sugar
2)A teaspoon of salt
3)A box of tomato Puree
4)Half a cup of fresh cream
5)A tablespoon of butter.
6)A tablespoon of oregano (but add as you wish)
7)A tablespoon of black pepper
8)Chilli Pepper seasoning.(I had a Bell Pepper Seasoning but I think its the same thing you get with pizzas.Add as much as you want)
9)A few Tulsi (Basil) leaves
10) Water (if you feel its too thick)

Stir and keep stirring. Allow it to simmer for a while.Add water to a vessel and add a tablespoon of salt and oil to it and boil the pasta in it.Drain water.Mix sauce and pasta and Voila!
Put it in a nicer looking vessel.Sprinkle grated cheese and heat.Or just present it any other way you like.

Maru Boy and the Younger Cousin Next Door were the guinea pigs.I did not receive a 'Brilliant' or 'Yummy'. But I did get a 'Good' and a 'Not bad'. So that keeps me happy for now.

I wanted to make a few Martinis to go with it but Momania wouldn't have approved :-)

Happy New Year!
I finally figured out what I wanted to do for New Year.Did you?

Ummm.. I'm not sure what to type..
It's just that it's VERY unsettling to watch you be so unnaturally & deliriously full of glee for a change.. Lol!

& yeah.. They make a wonderful couple! :)
Especially when they're dancing to 'dailamo'.. Haha!!

& Curse you! I had NO clue you even started blogging anonymously! But 'swirlintwirlin'?? Hahahaha!!!!

Chef n all... Kalakku!! Alternate career huh? Cooking? :P

Anyway, glad you're back to blogging.. Although the frequency kinda sucks.. (I can't exactly complain anyway)

Cheers!
& of course.. Happy New Year

Man u sound soooooo happy! really...hehe looking forward to seeing you dance to some hindi numbers. And stick to the anonymous blogging idea, it's a lot of fun when absolutely random people come up and write comments.
