Un-posted Posts

I didn't know what to blog about.
As I went through the posts that I've written, I found almost 30 blog posts that I wrote but never posted because

1) I thought it was lame as soon as I finished writing it.
2) I would lose that 'mood' to write halfway through it.
3) I was embarrassed by the way I wrote.

But here goes a series of posts that I've never published.

I love standing in the rain and getting soaked to the bone.
I hate the way my clothes have that 'wet smell' when I start to dry.

I love eating tandoori.
I hate popping enough mint to make me sterile.

I love getting new clothes.
I hate it when it looks better on my sister.

I love shopping for birthdays.
I hate it when its not my birthday I'm shopping for.

Six hours of TV later, my eyes are still in their sockets. I watched 'In her shoes' a movie that can be described as 'best watched with your finger on fast forward'.
And the fourth season of 'Sex and the City'.I will truly miss Trey with his 'alll-rightey' and of course Bunny.I was actually hoping that Charlotte would find them in bed together. To those ardent viewers of the show, I know the thought is a bit perverse but..hell..Its 'Sex and the City!'. I'm ashamed of myself for never liking Sarah Jessica Parker. For the simple fact that..she wasn't pretty. There are many times I've lectured Patwari about Bollywood and its starlets.Women who are extremely beautiful until they open their mouth and spurt out something absurd in broken grammar and terrible Hindi accents.Yes.I am a bigot.A Big Bigot in fact. But I always watched them. With their rebonded hair and perfect makeup and radiant smiles. No matter how superficial they are.And I couldn't do the same with Carrie. To the point when I fast forwarded all scenes with her.Which was practically the entire show. Am I one of those people who are trapped by the entire 'Sex sells' scheme? That I could only watch pretty women on screen?A couple of times as I flipped through magazines,I've spotted several not-so-pretty women modelling and the first that comes out is 'That face is a model.Yuck!'.'Did she sleep with someone to get there?' is my second.Have we all evolved into creatures that thrive on beauty. Our lives are filled with wanting it,craving it,perfecting it or learning it. Its only beautiful women on screen. We try to look good for the opposite sex.As much as we try to act flippant or nonchalant about the way we dress or how we look, we do care. And all that money, time and energy is wasted trying to be pretty. "Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.'..Yeah right.
Its like a caste system you need to be born into.
Sigh

I remember never posting the second blog because I was extremely ashamed of the way I thought.Judging people by their looks.Nothing has changed.I still cannot watch Sarah Jessica Parker on screen because she reminds me of a horse wearing wonderful shoes and clothes.
I still hate Hindi actresses because they still remind of Stepford wives.Stepford models/actresses perhaps.

Here goes a series of un-posted posts

Me first....I want lots of gulab jamuns...preferably from Ananda Bhavan..now for the comment...

Deep down, we all judge people by the way they look, even if we vehemently deny the fact...but as time progresses in a relationship, the looks factor doesnt seem to matter that much...

Aaarrgghh!! Sex & the City!
I watched it especially because you raved about it..
Biggest waste of a 50 buck renting the season 1 DVD...

& yes.. Sarah Jessica Parker does bear an uncanny resemblane to a diseased horse.. Ugh!
Anyway, I guess you really relate to the show being a girl of course.. But to guys who think the show is a guide to figuring out women, I have ONE message! You're all gay faggots!

Ahem.. Now that I have vented all that out, NICE write-up! & please.. Do post your 'unposted' posts in the future posted dates..

& sex does sell!! Women are like bear traps waiting to ensnare hapless and very rich men.. Lol.. & for the unfortunate other ones, there's Bollywood and scantily clad Bipasha Basu's with traces of what is known as 'acting skill'..

(OMG! This is too big a comment..)
Anyway, anxiously waiting to sample your gulab jamuns! Lol..
Cheers!
